1xxx Series (Pure Aluminum)
Main Composition: Al ≥99.00%, trace amounts of Fe, Si.
Typical Grades: 1050, 1060.
Characteristics: Corrosion resistance, excellent electrical/thermal conductivity, low strength.
3xxx Series (Manganese-Based)
Main Composition: Al-Mn (Mn 1.0-1.5%), small amounts of Mg, Cu.
Typical Grades: 3003, 3004.
Characteristics: Moderate strength, good formability, used for cans and pipes.
5xxx Series (Magnesium-Based)
Main Composition: Al-Mg (Mg 2.2-5.5%), small amounts of Mn, Cr.
Typical Grades: 5052, 5083.
Characteristics: Excellent corrosion resistance, weldability, used in ships and vehicles.
6xxx Series (Magnesium-Silicon Alloys)
Main Composition: Mg (0.6-1.2%), Si (0.4-0.9%), trace amounts of Cu, Cr.
Typical Grades: 6061, 6063.
Characteristics: Balanced properties, heat-treatable, used for structural components.
7xxx Series (Zinc-Based)
Main Composition: Zn (5-7%), Mg, Cu (e.g., 7075 contains Cu 1.6%).
Typical Grades: 7075, 7050.
Characteristics: Ultra-high strength, widely used in aerospace.
